Account Executive - Enterprise (Public Sector)
Description
Zscaler is seeking a remote contractor in Malaysia for an enterprise public sector sales role. The position focuses on expanding business with government and public institutions by acting as a consultative seller around cybersecurity and zero-trust transformation. This is a contractor-based sales opportunity for an experienced account executive who can build territory plans, engage senior stakeholders, and consistently drive revenue outcomes.
Responsibilities
▪ Understand customer security challenges and connect them to Zscaler's value proposition ▪ Educate executive and government stakeholders on strategic technology outcomes ▪ Build and execute territory plans covering accounts, targets, partners, and campaigns ▪ Manage the full sales motion to exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals ▪ Work with sales engineers to demonstrate both business and technical value
Candidate Requirements
▪ Extensive experience selling into Malaysia's public sector ▪ Strong record of meeting or exceeding revenue quotas in sales roles ▪ Experience selling to C-level leaders and senior government officials ▪ Bachelor's degree in Business or a related discipline ▪ Additional strength in security, SaaS, or software sales is preferred ▪ Ability to work with channel partners to build and close pipeline is advantageous
