Business Development Manager (Ads)
Description
CoinMarketCap is hiring a remote contract business development manager to grow advertising revenue across its media inventory. The role covers prospecting, pitching, negotiation, deal closure, and account growth for advertisers such as crypto projects, exchanges, wallets, and other Web3 brands. This opportunity is geared toward a seller who understands digital advertising products, can build proposals around client goals and budgets, and is comfortable operating in a fast-moving remote-first environment.
Responsibilities
▪ Manage the full advertising sales cycle from prospecting through close ▪ Sell across display, sponsored placements, newsletter inventory, and custom campaign packages ▪ Build and maintain a pipeline of crypto and Web3 advertisers ▪ Create tailored media plans and proposals matched to client goals and spend levels ▪ Coordinate with internal teams on campaign delivery and share performance insights with clients
Candidate Requirements
▪ 3+ years in ad sales, media sales, or digital advertising business development ▪ Strong network in the crypto or Web3 ecosystem ▪ Solid knowledge of digital ad formats including display, sponsored content, newsletters, and programmatic ▪ History of meeting or exceeding revenue targets ▪ Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and organizational skills
