Business Development Specialist (100% Remote outside of Canada)
Description
Wishpond is hiring a remote contractor to keep lead flow, follow-up discipline, and CRM accuracy running smoothly for its business development team. The role is heavily sales-focused, supporting pipeline movement, response-time oversight, and coordination between SDRs, closers, and marketing. This contract position fits someone who is process-oriented, comfortable in SaaS sales environments, and able to spot gaps that affect conversion and pipeline health.
Responsibilities
▪ Monitor inbound and outbound conversations to ensure qualified replies are handled quickly ▪ Escalate delayed or missed responses and flag poor follow-up patterns ▪ Keep leads moving through the pipeline with accurate stage progression ▪ Audit CRM records, notes, activities, and deal updates for accuracy ▪ Maintain strong CRM hygiene and identify bottlenecks or missed opportunities ▪ Coordinate with SDR, closer, and marketing teams to improve lead handling ▪ Produce regular reports on pipeline activity and response performance
Candidate Requirements
▪ 2-4 years of experience in sales operations, SDR or BDR support, pipeline management, or CRM administration ▪ Experience in SaaS or B2B sales environments ▪ Hands-on familiarity with Pipedrive or similar CRM systems ▪ Knowledge of outbound sales tools such as Instantly or comparable platforms ▪ Strong communication, organization, and analytical skills ▪ Able to work independently, prioritize multiple workflows, and catch inconsistencies quickly
