Marketing Director (ANZ, Temporary)
Description
WHOOP is seeking a temporary remote marketing leader to oversee integrated regional marketing for Australia and New Zealand. The role owns execution across brand, commercial, and community initiatives, adapting broader company strategy into locally relevant programs that drive awareness, engagement, and growth. This contract engagement covers an eight-month leave period and requires a marketer who can operate independently while aligning closely with global and regional teams. The work spans campaigns, partnerships, media, activations, and regional performance management.
Responsibilities
▪ Lead execution of regional commercial and marketing plans tied to brand and business outcomes ▪ Build integrated campaigns around cultural moments, wellness, sports, and lifestyle themes in ANZ ▪ Identify local activation opportunities tied to major events, holidays, and industry moments ▪ Partner with brand, social, partnerships, and sales-related stakeholders to keep messaging and execution aligned ▪ Manage local relationships with studios, organizations, influencers, and community partners ▪ Oversee reporting, regional media activity, partnerships, launches, and PR execution
Candidate Requirements
▪ 8+ years of marketing experience, including ownership of regional initiatives ▪ Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field ▪ Strong understanding of ANZ media, market, and competitive dynamics ▪ Experience with influencer programs, media planning, and brand partnerships ▪ Strong analytical, cross-functional, and stakeholder management skills ▪ Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-changing environment
