EnergyHub is seeking a remote contract writer in the United States to produce and refine marketing content focused on the energy industry. The role supports both brand and demand-related work by translating technical topics into clear material for business and consumer audiences. This assignment is geared toward an experienced writer who can work closely with marketing, product, clients, and subject experts. Deliverables span long-form content, web copy, event support, and customer-facing collateral used in go-to-market efforts.
Responsibilities
▪ Write and edit blogs, articles, whitepapers, reports, emails, social content, and thought-leadership pieces tied to the energy space ▪ Support event-related marketing materials, including promotions, presentations, and follow-up content ▪ Develop website and product messaging that explains technical concepts accurately and clearly ▪ Create case studies, one-pagers, decks, and other materials that help sales and marketing conversations ▪ Collaborate with internal teams and subject-matter experts to maintain quality and relevance across deliverables
Candidate Requirements
▪ Background writing or editing marketing or technical content in the energy industry ▪ Strong storytelling ability and a portfolio showing clear communication of complex ideas ▪ Curiosity about technical subject matter and willingness to learn quickly ▪ Comfort using AI tools for ideation, drafting, and revision while maintaining accuracy ▪ Careful attention to detail and strong collaboration skills ▪ Ability to function as part of an embedded marketing team working toward shared deadlines
