OUTBOUND BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE (100% Remote outside of Canada)
Description
Wishpond is hiring a full-time remote contractor for outbound business development focused on SaaS prospecting and meeting generation. The role supports clients in the U.S. and Canada and is built for someone who thrives in structured outreach, persistent follow-up, and high-volume sales development work. This position is centered on engaging prospects, qualifying opportunities, maintaining pipeline discipline, and coordinating with a distributed commercial team. It is a contract role with remote work and performance-driven expectations.
Responsibilities
▪ Make high-volume cold calls to target prospects across assigned markets ▪ Present the company's SaaS value clearly to decision-makers ▪ Qualify leads and book meetings for the sales team ▪ Keep CRM records accurate and current across outreach activity ▪ Run structured follow-up sequences using calls, email, and LinkedIn ▪ Meet daily and monthly activity and conversion targets ▪ Handle objections professionally and adjust messaging as conversations evolve ▪ Work with remote sales and marketing colleagues to improve outreach results
Candidate Requirements
▪ At least 3 years of cold-calling experience, ideally in SaaS or technology sales ▪ Track record of hitting outbound performance goals for calls, meetings, and conversions ▪ Experience with cloud dialers such as Vonage, RingCentral, or Dialpad ▪ Familiarity with CRM platforms including HubSpot, Salesforce, or Pipedrive ▪ Strong communication and persuasion skills ▪ Ability to work independently in a fast-paced remote environment ▪ Reliable internet connection and professional home office setup ▪ Fluent English with solid time management and accountability
