Sales Development Representative (Outbound) - Contractor
Description
Nanonets is hiring a remote contractor in India to support outbound sales development. The role is focused on prospecting, first-touch outreach, early qualification, and turning research plus marketing-sourced interest into meetings for account executives. This position suits someone comfortable with cold outreach, pipeline support, and sales tooling in a SaaS environment while working in a flexible remote setup.
Responsibilities
▪ Generate new leads and create outbound sales opportunities as part of the SDR team ▪ Research and engage prospective customers through outbound outreach ▪ Run initial discovery and qualification conversations before handing opportunities to account executives ▪ Gather useful prospect intelligence through calls, emails, and online research ▪ Qualify inbound or marketing-generated leads and move them forward in the funnel ▪ Coordinate meetings between qualified prospects and sales counterparts
Candidate Requirements
▪ 1+ year of experience in lead generation or inside sales within SaaS ▪ Experience with tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, and Apollo ▪ Comfort speaking with new prospects and handling first-stage objections ▪ Ability to research accounts and surface useful information for the sales team ▪ Strong organization and follow-through in a remote environment
