Senior Ads Specialist (100% Remote outside of Canada)
Description
Wishpond is hiring a fully remote contractor to lead paid media strategy for SMB client accounts. The role combines strategic planning with performance ownership, requiring someone who can guide execution across channels, allocate spend effectively, and uncover new opportunities to improve return on ad investment. This contract marketing role is suited to an experienced performance marketer who can coordinate with account and creative teams, interpret campaign data clearly, and keep multiple client programs moving in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
▪ Develop paid media strategies across client accounts and direct execution priorities ▪ Own results across budget allocation, targeting, creative direction, and optimization ▪ Analyze campaign performance and turn findings into actionable recommendations ▪ Shift accounts toward more scalable budget models where appropriate ▪ Test new channels, audiences, and approaches to improve ROI ▪ Work with account managers and creative teams to align paid media with broader strategy ▪ Communicate results and recommendations to internal stakeholders and clients ▪ Use AI tools to support reporting, creative development, and workflow efficiency
Candidate Requirements
▪ 4-6 years of experience in paid media, digital advertising, or performance marketing ▪ Proven success managing campaigns across multiple advertising platforms ▪ Strong grasp of targeting, bidding, conversion optimization, and media strategy ▪ Hands-on experience with Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and GA4 ▪ Ability to manage several accounts and budgets with strong attention to detail ▪ Strong communication skills and comfort presenting insights clearly ▪ Able to work independently in a remote environment and operate during ET or PT business hours
